St. Edmund's is a welcoming and nurturing environment, where each individual is supported to develop morally, spiritually, socially, culturally and academically. Our extended community, through our Christian values of Love, Courage, Trust and Respect encourage each other in faith to ‘Let your light shine.’ (Matthew 5).

We are delighted to welcome you to St. Edmund's Church of England Primary School, a village school nestled in the heart of West Kingsdown village, where children explore, learn, create and grow together. We are delighted to be part of the Compass Federation, a group of three schools, which includes St. Paul's in Swanley Village and Dunton Green Primary School. We work closely together under an Executive Headteacher and Governing Body.

We believe that every child should succeed in our school and thrive due to excellent teaching and high expectations. Every child’s contribution to the school is valued, and we recognise and celebrate every child’s achievements and milestones. Our school has a caring family ethos and, with parents and staff working together, we support each other in helping everyone's light to shine.

Our Christian values are the foundation of our school, and they run through every aspect of life here at St. Edmund's. We work closely with our parish church, which is tucked away in West Kingsdown woods, and the pupils walk to the church to attend Harvest Festivals, Remembrance services, Christingle services, Bible presentations for our Year 3 pupils and Year 6 leavers' services.

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find it informative and that it reflects the wonderful education and diverse opportunities our children experience at St. Edmund's.
